Meeting Owl Quick Start Guide

This practical guide was created to help users operate the Meeting Owl available in the Multipurpose Room in a quick and uncomplicated manner.

Step-by-Step Connection and Usage

1. Connecting to the Computer:

  • Take the USB-C cable that is connected to the equipment.

  • Plug the cable directly into an available port on your laptop.

2. Meeting Configuration:

  • Open your preferred meeting application.

  • Upon entering the call, access the app's audio and video settings and ensure that the device hardware is selected for all three options:

  • Camera: Meeting Owl

  • Audio / Microphone: Meeting Owl

  • Speaker: Meeting Owl

  • Start your meeting.

Device Physical Controls

The Meeting Owl features manual controls built into the base of the device to facilitate your meeting dynamics:

Control / Button

Function

Volume Control (+ / -)

Adjusts the audio volume of remote participants. The buttons are located on the lower side of the base.

Mute

When pressed, it cuts the room's audio capture. Red lights will illuminate at the base of the device to indicate that the room is muted.

Multi function Button

Located at the lower back of the device (just above the cable outputs). Each click changes the camera's behavior and capture mode.
